“Jezebel Spirit” exposed
Many today use the term “Jezebel spirit” to describe those who have characteristics of sexual immorality and/or feminine dominance.
As the wife of King Ahab, Jezebel caused a lot of turmoil for her husband and the northern tribes of Israel. She was a domineering woman who feared no one, including the God of Israel. She had all the characteristics of the queen of heaven as a controlling wife, a witch (literally), a domineering tyrant, a seductress, and a murderer. This queen of heaven lifestyle was a result of her upbringing which I discuss in my book (Jealous, Exposing the Queen of Heaven).
No matter all the evil that Jezebel did, she was still a human being. Granted, her spirit was joined to a controlling evil spirit due to her agreement with the queen of heaven, but her power didn’t go beyond the grave. Therefore, there is no such thing as a person having a “Jezebel spirit.”
To think that her spirit is capable of inhabiting or controlling other people, is to contradict Scripture. This is what demons alone do. When Jesus freed the man of the legions of demons, his human spirit was restored. I firmly believe Jezebel could have received the same freedom if she had chosen to.
But what about these verses in Revelation 2?…
20 You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols. 21 I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling. 22 So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways. 23 I will strike her children dead.
This Jezebel is living proof that the first Jezebel’s legacy lived on for at least nine centuries. Just like the first one, she was an actual human woman too; the Greek word for “woman” in this verse means “woman.” Jesus never considered a spirit to be a prophet (not to be confused with the “spirit of a prophet” which is a human spirit). Although spirits/angels are documented in the Bible as eating, being sexually immoral, and having children, there is one thing they most certainly can’t do. Fallen angels (demons or evil spirits) are unable to repent and be forgiven. That is a benefit only enjoyed by the human race. This Jezebel certainly shows that .
The queen of heaven principality, whose mission is to accomplish the devil’s desire to annihilate the human race, has control over innumerable demons. A better explanation for the characteristics of Jezebel is to say that the demons who controlled both of these women still control people in the same way today. This principality is one of the strongest in our society and demands to be worshiped with impure sexual acts, murder, domination, rage, bondage, and many more evil behaviors.
