A Prayer for These Times

Lord, let Your glory fall all over the world.

For every life that has been lost we ask for a hundredfold of new lives in Jesus Christ.

You are toppling corrupt governments and rebuking evil men – help us to trust You as we live in these uncertain days. Strengthen us to live in peace with our neighbors and provide help where needed.

Most of all Lord, be the nonstop supply of oil as we shine our light into the ones You put in front of us. Give us the right words that will open ears and hearts. Provide us with the healing balm that we can generously apply to physical and emotional wounds. Continue to guide us with Your voice in the day and dreams in the night. Clear our vision of schemes contrived in darkness so that we can see others as You do.

Let loose Your blessings on those who are unabashedly sharing Your love, especially while in the direct line of fire.

There is no one we would rather honor and praise than You, the Ancient of Days, Creator of every life, Mighty Warrior, and One True God.
